Petra Iston is a multidisciplinary visual artist working in many facets of design, including graphic design, logo design and brand / identity building, product conceptualization, creative advertising, production, photo art direction, and photo retouching.
As an independent consultant she was awarded a project where she developed, completely on her own, the campaign for the 2010 European Champions in Canoe Slalom and the 2011 World Champions in Canoe Slalom in Slovakia, her native country.
She has also developed 2010 and 2011 ad campaign for Inpulse Fitness Academy (www.inpulse.sk) as well as she designed the majority of the gym’s promotional materials and web banners.
For client Go4 courier (www.go4.sk), she designed a clothing line, designed two creative versions of the companies logo and did complete rebrand of courier vehicles.
Recently Iston formed a partnership with JJ Graham to create the Salvo Art Project. This new endeavor features studio space for artists, a gallery space, outdoor painting areas, an artist residency program, and a classroom. The new space is located in Nature Scapes at 313 Old in Bunnell, Florida. The 6,000 sq. ft. building now houses studio spaces for 12 working artists, and embodies the vision Iston and Graham share.
